Custom Press-On Nails | Design Your Own Set

When you order a custom set from me, you are not choosing from a menu of designs. You are bringing me a feeling, a reference, a colour, a memory, or an idea you have not been able to find anywhere else. I take that starting point and turn it into hand-painted press-on nails made especially for you.

It can be very specific, or it can be a little messy. Honestly, the messy ideas are often the most fun.

How custom press-on nail sets work

1. Start with your idea

Before I begin, a $20 non-refundable deposit is paid first. It is applied to the final price of your custom set.

After that, send me whatever gives you the feeling: a Pinterest image, a painting, a room, a fabric, an outfit, a film still, a colour palette, or a few words describing the mood. You do not need to have a perfect design brief. Tell me what you want the set to feel like and we can build from there.

A few examples of the kind of inspiration you can send

Your reference images do not have to be nail photos. I love working from atmosphere, texture, colour, architecture, fashion, and objects. These are the kinds of images that can give a custom set its direction:

2. Get the fit right

Every finger is different, so your custom press-on nails are sized individually to your fingers — not assigned one generic size for the whole set.

You have two options:

• Send me your nail measurements using the sizing guide on my website.
• Add a sizing kit for the exact shape you want: US$12 or CA$8.

If you choose the kit, make sure it matches the shape you want for your custom set. Taking the time to get sizing right is important because you are responsible for the measurements you submit.

3. Review the design

I will work with you to settle on the direction before I start painting. One revision is included during the mockup stage.

Once the design is final and I begin production, we cannot go back and change anything. That includes the artwork, colours, shape, length, or other details. Please make sure you are completely happy with the final design before giving me the go-ahead.

4. I make your set by hand

Custom sets are made to order, so please allow up to two weeks for production after the design is confirmed.

5. Your order ships

Standard tracked delivery within Canada and the US generally takes 5–7 business days after dispatch. If you choose express shipping, the express option affects the carrier service after dispatch — it does not skip the making process. Express press-on nail orders are still made to order and take 2–4 business days before shipping.

What makes a good custom request?

Send me the things you already know:

• the shape and length you are drawn to
• colours, finishes, textures, or details you want included
• the outfit, event, artist, film, place, or memory behind the idea
• your nail measurements, or a request for the shape-specific sizing kit

If all you have is “I want something dark, glossy, and a little dangerous,” that is enough to start a conversation.

What are custom press-on nails?

They are press-on nails designed around your idea and made to order, rather than selected from a standard collection. At Grei, I hand-paint each set as a personal piece of wearable art.

Can I send Pinterest photos that are not nail photos?

Yes. Please send interiors, fabrics, paintings, outfits, objects, colour palettes, or any other images that capture the mood. Sometimes one image says more than a long explanation.

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. You can come to me with a finished concept or just a colour, feeling, or visual reference. We will develop the direction together before production begins.

How much is the custom-set deposit?

The $20 deposit is non-refundable. A custom order cannot be cancelled once production begins, and custom-set sales are final because each set is made specifically for you.

Can you replace one nail if I lose or damage it?

Individual nails may be remade if one is lost or damaged. Replacement fees vary, so please email me for a quote.

How do I care for my custom set?

Handle the nails gently, avoid prolonged water exposure and excessive pressure, and keep harsh acetone away from the artwork. Care instructions are included with your order.
